— Yangzhou Fried Rice Recipe —
- Long grained white rice. The rice should be washed several times to rid out all kinds of dirt from it.
- Olive or peanut oil or any kind of other vegetable oil.
- Sugar 2 tablespoon.
- Chopped garlic (1 Tsp)
- Grated ginger( 1 Tsp)
- Very little amount of sake.
- Red & green bell pepper (1 cup)
- Onion, which are largely diced.
- Finely chopped carrot (1 cup)
- Red pepper flakes (1/2 Tsp)
The final procedure:
- Take a pot and keep it on the burner to get the highest heat.
- Pour the sufficient amount of oil and wait until it warmed.
- Pour all of the vegetables in it and add a little amount of salt in it. It’s okay if you want to just boil the vegetables. Then add the double amount of water into the pot. Then cover it to boil it quickly.
- Take another pot.
- Add the rice and the double amount of water in it.
- Wait until the rice gets boiled properly. After perfectly boiled, take down the pot from the burner; keep the rice in a leaked jar to get out the water from it.
- Take the empty pot again.
- Pour the vegetables in it.
- Fry them some while with little amount of olive oil or butter. If you wish, you can also add the spice powders in it according to your taste.

- Add the tomato ketchup, pepper, salt, sugar and the other ingredients in it.
